Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers in line with company and industry standards.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, developing repair plans with the Service Advisor, completing repairs safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; team collaboration and ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or manufacturer's technical school preferred.
• Willingness to expand knowledge via training programs.
• Ability to work unsupervised and flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers per standards.
• Perform diagnostic testing and develop repair plans with Service Advisor.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Recommend TA services during inspection reviews; ensure customer safety.
