Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will perform diagnostic tests, develop repair plans, and communicate with the Service Advisor to deliver quality service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, relevant trade training, and the ability to work unsupervised with flexible hours, including nights and weekends. We offer benefits and growth opportunities, with a pay range of $19.12 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or manufacturer's tech school preferred.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks/equipment a plus.
• Willingness to expand knowledge through training programs and education.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues; develop repair plans and communicate to Service Advisor.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and electrical/mechanical components safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; promote TravelCenters services during inspections.
