Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our service team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers to high standards.

You will perform diagnostics, develop repair plans with the Service Advisor, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while delivering excellent service. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possession of own tools.
• Education: high school diploma or GED, trade school acceptable.
• Able to work in a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a trusted environment focused on great service.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results; develop repair plan.
• Repair malfunctioning parts and electrical equipment; complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Recommend other TA services during inspection review.
• Maintain safety of customers and employees.
