Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness; able to follow DOT/OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and lubrication; assist with electrical and cooling system work.
• Partner with manager to learn new skills through Penske training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
