Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with ability to work outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must comply with Penske safety policies (DOT/OSHA).
• Regular, predictable attendance required.
• Willingness to travel for training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical/cooling system work.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via technician training.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
