Job summary

Penske is hiring a Technician in Bartlett, IL to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll use Penske tools and diagnostics to keep vehicles safe and on the road, with ongoing training and growth opportunities. A strong mechanical interest and willingness to learn are key to success.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use common shop tools.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and tech.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn and apply new skills through Penske training and coaching.
• Take on assigned projects and support supervisor as needed.
