Performance Foodservice is hiring a fleet maintenance technician in Pennsylvania to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and related equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel systems, air brakes, and refrigeration components while documenting all work orders.

The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and will involve road-call service as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment, and identify root causes of faults.
• Ensure roadworthiness by verifying required licensing and registration prior to road use.
• Document and update work orders and repairs in the online system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheel bearings and other critical components for proper operation and safe performance.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication, and use of hand and power tools.
• Perform road-call service as needed.
