Performance Foodservice seeks an experienced technician to perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and reefer units. You will document work orders, ensure roadworthiness, and support road call services as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting brakes, electrical systems, and onboard computers, while maintaining compliance with state and federal trucking regulations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and attention to safety protocols.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required and able to read manuals.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
• Experience with PMs, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C refrigeration is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect fleet diesel equipment and components.
• Ensure roadworthiness with proper licensing and registration checks.
• Document repairs and PMs in the online asset management system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and inspect braking systems.
