Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems, using diagnostic tools when applicable.
• Identifies root causes and replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Operates with Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Complies with safety, DOT, MOT and company policies.
