Qualifications

• Has a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Possesses basic hand tools and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of failures and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to clarify the nature of the problem.
