Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience repairing automotive gas or diesel engines preferred.
• Two years of training/experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Identify root cause and perform repairs as required.
• Interacts with drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
