Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Pittsburgh, PA, on second shift (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm). The role includes diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance across operations.

The position offers $30.19 per hour, a quarterly bonus up to $500, sign-on bonuses of $1,250 at 30 days and 90 days, and a strong benefits package including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition repayment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools where applicable.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs as required.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
