Penske in Obetz, OH is seeking an experienced Technician I to join our team Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet, working with guidance from senior staff and using Penske’s tools.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• Diploma preferred; vocational/technical vehicle repair certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision and timely.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components including engines and transmissions.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
