Qualifications

• Two years' verifiable experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair or a technical school degree/certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy trucks; working knowledge of repair tools and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and accurately.
• Perform failure analysis, repair, and rebuilds of fleet components.
• Document work orders and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Travel to other shop locations as needed and assist with general shop duties.
• Operate and inspect equipment; plan procedures using manuals and experience.
