Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working on Class A trucks.
- Experience with air brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Prior welding and fabrication experience required.
- Tire repair experience preferred.
- Perform DOT inspections and compliancy.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components including doors, floors and electrical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders.
- Maintain safety and reliability for fleet vehicles and company-owned equipment.
- Abide by company policies and safety rules and keep a clean work area.
- Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
- Maintain repairs for Class 8 trucks, trailers and yard tractors.
