Job summary
Dollar General Fleet is seeking Diesel Technicians to join our Blair, NE team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Class A trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with federal standards and DOT inspections.

Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience on Class A trucks.
- Experience with air brakes, hydraulic & electrical systems.
- Prior welding and fabrication experience required.
- Tire repair experience preferred.
- Perform DOT inspections and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair truck and trailer components (doors, floors, panels, electrical and air brake systems).
- Perform preventive maintenance on tractor and trailer equipment and complete repair orders.
- Maintain and repair fleet vehicles (tractors, trailers, lift-gates, company-owned equipment) for safety and reliability.
- Follow company policies and safety rules; keep a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist drivers with outstanding vehicle issues and maintain repairs on Class 8 trucks.
