Sioux Falls Truck & Trailer is looking to fill our Diesel Technician position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment including compactors, excavators, loaders, and other heavy construction equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
• Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain clear customer records.

Qualifications:

• Two-year technical degree and/or equivalent job experience in the diesel/equipment field.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems and components, pneumatic, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Previous experience working on equipment is a plus but not required.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
