Sioux Falls Truck & Trailer is looking for a Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications: Must have own tools; advanced training is a plus but not necessary.
Key responsibilities of a service technician include:
Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Issues: Identifying problems and malfunctions in equipment or systems using diagnostic tools, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks to restore equipment to working condition, including replacing faulty components, performing software updates, and ensuring proper calibration.
Customer Interaction: Communicating with customers to understand issues and provide updates, demonstrating effective communication and customer service skills.
Documentation: Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and other relevant information.
Preventive Maintenance: Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance to prevent issues and extend equipment lifespan.
Training and Support: Providing training to customers on equipment use and maintenance when needed.
Adhering to Safety Guidelines: Following safety protocols to ensure safety during work on hazardous equipment.
* Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
* Participate in all available training programs.
