Sioux Falls Truck & Trailer is looking for a Diesel Mechanic

Minimum requirements: Must have own tools. Advanced training is preferred but not necessary.
Key responsibilities of a service technician include:
Troubleshooting and Diagnosing Issues: Service technicians identify problems and malfunctions in equipment or systems using diagnostic tools, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to find root causes.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance to restore equipment, including replacing faulty components, software updates, adjustments, and calibration.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand issues and provide updates, requiring effective communication and customer service skills.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, parts used, and related information.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive tasks to prevent issues and extend equipment lifespan.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to customers on equipment use and maintenance.
Adhering to Safety Guidelines: Follow safety protocols to ensure safety while working on hazardous equipment.
* Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
* Participate in all available training programs.
