Job summary

Truck & Trailer, with trusted partner True North Fleet Services, is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician in New York. You will perform preventive maintenance on heavyduty trucks, diagnose and repair engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, and complete DOT inspections.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of diesel maintenance experience preferred.
  • Mobile experience preferred.
  • ASE T-Series certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, not required).

At Truck & Trailer, with our trusted partner, True North Fleet Services are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician. This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, quality repairs on diesel equipment and mobile fleet service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavyduty trucks and trailers
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
