Total Tire Solutions, in partnership with True North Fleet Services, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician in the Lake Charles area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and repair diesel equipment in a mobile service setting to keep fleets safe and on the road.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel or heavyduty maintenance experience.
• ASE TSeries certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavyduty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues.
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met.
• Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership.

This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and quality repairs on diesel equipment in a mobile service environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavyduty trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
• Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership
