Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Buffalo, NY is seeking full-time Diesel Technicians for all shifts. The role involves maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of medium and heavy-duty vehicles at a modern shop.

• Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Proficient with computer operation/usage.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
• Follow established technical & administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders & parts usage forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers.
• Remain current on technical & regulation requirements.
• Perform road service calls as required.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma, technical school or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair

• A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
