Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Lancaster, NY seeks a full-time Fleet Technician to maintain and repair a large fleet at a customer facility. You will work with a team to service 140 dry vans, 120 reefers, and 6 yard horses, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The role offers a 4-day work week with medical, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Training and internal advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician.
• Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments.
• Proficient with computer operation/usage.
• Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
• Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude.
• Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards.
• Follow established technical & administrative processes.
• Complete repair orders, parts usage forms, PM lists, and parts accountability.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers.
• Remain current on technical & regulation requirements.
• Perform road service calls and road rescue/transport equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations, and government guidelines.
