Job summary

DeVivo Companies is hiring full-time Technicians at our brand-new East Hartford, CT location. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles, and complete related paperwork.

CDL eligibility and a valid driver’s license are required. We offer paid training, ASE bonuses, company-provided tools, uniform and boot programs, overtime opportunities and comprehensive health benefits including 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school training.
• Training or experience in automotive, truck or bus repair.
• Valid driver's license; CDL eligibility preferred.
• Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Performs diagnostic and repair work.
• Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage.
• Makes road calls.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Follow orders of the shop foreman or supervisor.

• Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
