Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Diesel Technical Advisor to join the Headquarters Customer Service Team. You will answer warranty and technical calls, troubleshoot diesel engine issues, and support field mechanics.

Onsite training in Jasper, Indiana for 6-8 weeks; after training, work onsite at Jasper facility or at a nearby branch. Starting pay $22-24/hour with possible bonuses after probation. Strong diesel knowledge and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 year automotive degree and/or related automotive industry experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Driven to solve problems with advanced knowledge and technical detail in diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships with customers.
• Answer phone calls from customers who have warranty or technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and help resolve the customers concerns.
• Provide professional and quality customer care.
