Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Jasper, Indiana is hiring a Customer Service – Diesel Technical Advisor to join our Headquarters Customer Service Team. You will answer warranty and technical calls, troubleshoot diesel engine issues, and support field mechanics.

This role requires diesel engine knowledge and experience diagnosing and repairing diesel applications. Onsite training is provided for 6–8 weeks at our Jasper facility; after training, you work onsite at the Jasper location or nearby

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of diesel engines and the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engine applications.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues for diesel engines is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Job Description:Customer Service – Diesel Technical Advisor: As a member of the Headquarters Customer Service Team, the Diesel Technical Advisor is primarily responsible for answering phone calls from customers having either warranty and/or technical issues. In this role, you are troubleshooting technical issues that a mechanic may be having out in the field. Therefore, it is imperative that you have an understanding and knowledge of diesel engines. *Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engine applications is required.*NOTE: The Customer Service Diesel Technical Advisor is required to complete onsite training in Jasper, Indiana for a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
