Job summary

Penske in Everett, WA is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will help customers keep vehicles on the road and learn Penske's maintenance processes with cutting-edge tech.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• The associate must be able to pass DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety requirements and background checks

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers
• Use Penske tools to log, research and repair, including basic vehicle diagnostics
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs (tires, lubrication, electrical/cooling work)
• Learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
