Job summary

Cox Fleet in Miami is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to heavy repairs. The role includes diagnostics, documentation in RO systems, and close work with the service writer. You will follow safety policies and strive for high productivity in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic system data.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and routine PM on light/medium/heavy trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain shop tools and organize parts and RO documentation.
• Communicate findings and estimates to service writer and manager.
• Adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations.
