Cox Automotive is hiring a Diesel Maintenance Technician II for DOT management at a Cox location. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of trucks and trailers.

This role emphasizes safe, independent work in a shop setting with opportunities to advance and receive training, while supporting company standards and DOT compliance. A company vehicle may be provided for work-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years in a related field.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate in interstate commerce.
• Willingness to participate in safety training and company required programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and document findings on RO using Karmak.
• Interact with Service Writer and parts to obtain approvals and parts.
• Travel occasionally to customer locations as needed.
