Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs in a shop environment. You will work with light, medium and heavy‑duty vehicles and may travel to customer locations as needed.

This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to advance through a strong technician network. A HS diploma and DOT qualifications are required.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED plus 3 years related experience, or 5 years related experience.
Possess and supply a set of hand tools.
Must complete required safety training and DOT pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
Determine parts required and interact with Parts Department.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist in end-of-day cleanup.
Apply training and experience to perform job duties with technical accuracy.
Work with Service Writer to assess customer needs and communicate repairs.
Manage concurrent tasks with prioritization and time management.
