Job summary

Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison in Middletown, CT is seeking a Tech I–Tech III to diagnose problems and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on customer equipment, including engines, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and brake systems.

You will perform routine maintenance, use diagnostic software, work with parts to identify needed components, and document work orders clearly. A valid CDL is a plus and a technical diesel repair background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
• Utilize diagnostic software and follow troubleshooting guidelines.
• Operate basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Identify parts and order replacements with the parts department.
• Complete work orders and time sheets clearly detailing labor operations.
