Job summary

North Central International is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on (heavy/medium duty) vehicles per manufacturer standards. Strong technical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities include interpreting repair orders, preparing work areas, securing parts/tools, and accurately documenting work. CDL/ASE preferred; great teamwork and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical automotive program preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance/repair.
• Experience with medium- or heavy-duty trucks or dealership service ops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review repair orders to understand tasks and required documentation.
• Clock on/off repair orders to track time and work performed.
• Prepare vehicle for service, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and identify additional service needs.
• Document findings, diagnostics, and repairs on the repair order.
• Mentor colleagues and promote safe work practices.
