Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers in Branford, CT. You will perform diagnostics, interpret results, and communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor.

Maintain a safe, clean shop and help customers by recommending TA services during inspections. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, trade/tech schooling or relevant経験, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade/tech school graduate.
• Willingness to expand professional knowledge via training.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform diagnostic testing and develop repair plans; communicate results.
• Repair malfunctioning parts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Suggest TA services during inspection reviews with customers.
• Ensure safety of customers and employees.
