Job summary

Boss Shop is seeking a Shop Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform mechanical repairs in a timely and professional manner. You will handle preventive maintenance, engine and emissions work, and diagnostics using J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE software.

Training and advancement opportunities are available within a structured career path. The role requires ASE certifications and ability to work on nights/on-call as needed; DOT and HVAC training may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training.
• Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, and other certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and on-call schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls.
• DOT inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Diagnostic testing using J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE software.
• Document labor, parts, and warranty information on work orders.
• Advanced engine, emissions, drivetrain, and electrical repairs as needed.
• HVAC diagnostics and repairs including recovery and recharge.
