Job summary

Boss Shop, a Bosselman Enterprises unit in Iowa, seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to perform complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics. The role includes on-site shop work with on-call duties and a clear path for advancement in a growing network of Boss Shop facilities.

Qualified candidates will have Air Brake Certification, DOT Medical Card, ASE certifications, and HVAC Section 609 certification. Training programs and excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Electrical, and DOT training required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to obtain ASE, DOT certifications.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and tire services.
• Conducts DOT inspections and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Performs service calls including night/on-call as required.
• Uses J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE software to diagnose/repair systems.
• Completes work orders with labor, parts, and warranty data.
• Performs engine/drivetrain/electrical/HVAC repairs.
