Job summary

Boss Shop, part of Bosselman Enterprises, is seeking a Shop Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform mechanical repairs in a timely, professional manner. The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex drivetrain and HVAC work with a clear path for growth.

Ideal candidates hold an Air Brake Certification, a DOT Medical Card, and ASE certifications are preferred. A strong team attitude and willingness to work evenings or on-call are essential.

Qualifications

• Air Brake Certification required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• ASE certifications preferred; Shop Technician IV must obtain or maintain related certifications within one year.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road service calls.
• Conducts DOT inspections and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Diagnoses and repairs vehicle systems using J-Pro, FleetCross and OE software.
• Completes work orders with labor, parts, and warranty details.
• Handles engine, fuel, cooling, and emissions system repairs.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the shop and vehicles.
