Job summary

Boss Shop, part of Bosselman Enterprises, seeks a skilled Diesel Technician to perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance in a busy shop setting in Nebraska. Qualifications

• Able to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel equipment.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance during all shop activities.
• Obtain ASE, DOT, and other required certifications within specified timelines.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency road calls.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle on-call service calls as required, including night shifts.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using J-Pro, FleetCross and OE software.
• Document labor, parts, and warranty information accurately on work orders.
• Perform engine, fuel, cooling, emissions, drivetrain, and electrical system repairs as needed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and ensure tools and vehicles are safe to operate.
