Job summary

Stotz Equipment is seeking a Shop Tech I / Apprentice to learn diagnostics, repairs, and assembly in a dealer shop. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining hands-on training and contributing to real repair work while pursuing your growth in equipment service.

You’ll be expected to perform basic maintenance, document work, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A HS diploma or equivalent is required, with diesel training or enrollment preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Own tools and basic diagnostic/documentation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; enrollment in diesel program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn diagnostics, service, and maintenance on equipment.
• Assist senior technicians and service manager while building skills.
• Perform basic repairs under supervision with growing independence.
• Document work accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and provide professional customer service.
