Job summary

Boss Truck Shops, Inc. is seeking skilled Shop Technicians to perform diesel repairs and maintenance across a full range of systems. We provide a 3‑week training program for new team members, growth opportunities, and competitive benefits after six months.

You will work with diagnostic platforms such as J-Pro and FleetCross, participate in ASE testing, and contribute to a safety‑conscious, customer‑focused shop environment that values reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Air Brake Certification required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• ASE certifications preferred; Shop Technician IV must obtain or maintain the listed certifications within one year of promotion.
• Section 609 HVAC certification required for HVAC service.

Responsibilities

• Performs all preventive maintenance services, tire services, and emergency road service calls.
• Conducts DOT inspections and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Performs service calls, including night and on-call assignments as required.
• Uses diagnostic platforms (J-Pro, FleetCross, OE software) to diagnose and repair vehicle systems.
• Completes work orders with labor, parts, and warranty information.
• Performs engine, fuel, exhaust, and drivetrain repairs as needed.
• Performs emissions and HVAC system diagnostics and repairs.
