Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC (MHC) is recruiting a Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic to perform heavy-duty mechanical repairs under supervision and participate in a development training program to advance toward Service Journeyman status.

The role covers mechanical duties, ranging from engine overhauls to fuel and electrical systems, with emphasis on safety and proper tool handling. Training sessions are provided as part of the progression.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists in the performance of general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience by working on engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up, and general maintenance.
