Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic in Tulsa, OK. The role involves heavy-duty truck repair under supervision with on‑the‑job training to achieve technician status.

The position requires hands-on experience or vocational training, CDL preferred, and essential certifications. You will perform general mechanical duties, participate in training, and support shop operations in a safety‑sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Performs and/or assists in general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience in motor overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, motor tune-up, and general maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
• Advices the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
