Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is hiring a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic in Oklahoma City. You will perform heavy-duty mechanical repair under supervision and participate in a training program to become a Service Journeyman.

Responsibilities include engine overhaul, fuel and electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, cooling, and preventive maintenance, with hands-on learning and safety practices. CDL is preferred and certifications (A/C, Brake, DOT Inspector) are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years hands-on mechanical experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical duties with supervision.
• Gains experience on engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes and maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision and performs troubleshooting.
• Attends training sessions and meetings; maintains a neat, safe workspace.
