Murphy-Hoffman Company is seeking a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic at MHC Kenworth-Dubuque. This role offers hands-on training for heavy-duty mechanical repair and is part of a development program to achieve Service Journeyman status.

Key responsibilities include performing mechanical duties, working on major components under supervision, and maintaining safety practices. Candidates must have three years of experience or a vocational background, along with A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual

Qualifications

• Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical duties under supervision.
• Gain experience on engine overhauls, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
• Advise the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Follow safety practices and procedures.
