Rural King is seeking an experienced Mechanic II to diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered equipment in our in-store repair operation. You will handle tractors, mowing equipment, UTVs, lawn equipment, and forklifts, while managing work orders, parts, and warranty claims.

The role emphasizes advanced troubleshooting, strong customer communication, and safety in a shop environment. Prior diesel/ small‑engine repair and CRM familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diesel repair experience is required or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities across diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and A/C systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment, manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair diesel engines, small engines, tractors, UTVs, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on customer and company-owned equipment.
• Manage repair work orders from intake through completion, including documentation and warranty claims.
• Order parts, process warranty claims, and communicate with customers about repairs.
• Use diagnostic software, multimeters, service tools, and diagrams to identify issues and complete repairs.
