Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Mechanic I to diagnose, service, and repair customer and company-owned equipment in our in-store repair shop. You’ll work on small engines, tractors, diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, and outdoor power equipment, handling repair work orders, parts, and warranty processing.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain small engines, tractors, diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, and outdoor power equipment.
• Manage customer repair work orders from intake through completion, including documentation, parts ordering, repairs, and warranty claims.
• Perform preventative maintenance and intermediate-level service on equipment.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to identify issues and complete repairs.
• Maintain safety and organization in a busy shop environment.
