Republic Services, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Fleet B Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment across Industrial Services sites.

The role involves on-site and on-road work, tire changes, inspections, and adherence to safety and DOT regulations. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of diesel experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• CDL (A or B) with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
• Technical skills with diagnostic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance based on maintenance/repair orders.
• Inspect components, guards, bolts and safety devices, and adjust as needed.
• Operate shop equipment and perform on-site/on-road repairs as required.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports and sign off repairs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
