Job summary

Republic Services in Pennsylvania seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and air systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drive train and brakes. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative work on-site and on the road, and support a forward-looking fleet of advanced refuse vehicles.

Requires 3–5 years in a technician role; ASE certifications (T1–T8) are a plus; CDL is a plus; valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with practical repair experience.
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and related systems.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance and on-site service.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Identify malfunctions using diagnostic tools and repair as needed.
• Provide road service and ensure equipment is returned to operation safely.
