Job summary

Haugland Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to operate primarily from its St. Thomas, VI location.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance and corrective troubleshooting on a varied fleet of vehicles and industrial construction equipment, keeping downtime to a minimum in a demanding environment. Ideal applicants have 5+ years of experience with tractors trailers, automotive engines, and small engines, plus welding skills and experience with heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with tractor trailers, automotive and small engines.
• Welding skills and experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Personal toolset required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a varied fleet of vehicles and construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues across heavy and light equipment.
• Support a fast-paced, demanding environment with timely repairs.
