Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled heavy-duty diesel truck maintenance technician to safely operate, inspect, diagnose, and repair Company owned or leased refuse trucks and equipment. The role offers starting pay of $26-$30 per hour with additional pay based on experience and certifications.

Shifts run approximately 9 hours with overtime after 40 hours. Two shift options are available: 4am-2pm and 8:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
