GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel truck mechanic to safely operate, repair, rebuild and maintain company trucks and equipment to keep the fleet in service.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, and performing preventative maintenance for daily operation. The role offers two shift options with 9+ hour days, overtime after 40 hours, and benefits such as PTO, tool allowances, boot reimbursements, and retirement plans after probation

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs on Diesel Refuse Trucks.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, PTO systems, and other truck components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to keep Refuse Trucks operating safely and reliably.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure fleet vehicles are ready for daily operation.

Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely

Starting Pay: $26-$30/hrMore pay available based on experience, certifications and skill level.

Shift: 2 options. Expect 9hr+ working shifts. Overtime over 40hrs.1)4am-2pm M-F.2)830am-6pm M-F.
